Flareon (Japanese: ブースター Booster) is a Template:Type2 Pokémon.
Biology
Physiology
Flareon is the result of an Eevee being exposed to a Fire Stone. Out of the seven known Eeveelutions, Flareon bears the closest resemblance to Eevee. Flareon's body is covered in red fur. Flareon has a large, bushy tail, fluffy collar and a tuft of fur on its head; all of which are yellow.
Gender differences
None.
Special abilities
Flareon can use most of the moves that Eevee is capable of using, but it can also shoot powerful flames that have been known to reach a maximum of 3,100 degrees Fahrenheit. Due to the fact that Flareon is fully evolved, it can learn either Hyper Beam or Giga Impact.
Behavior
Habitat
Flareon are mainly found in hot places, but only rarely, as an Eevee needs to be exposed to a Fire Stone to evolve.

Trivia
- Flareon is generally considered the least useful of the Eeveelutions, owing to its extremely poor movepool, but has the highest Attack base stat of the Eeveelutions.
- Flareon shares the same species name as Charmeleon and Charizard, Moltres, and Infernape. They are all known as Flame Pokémon.
- Every single Pokédex entry for Flareon mentions its ability to cope or attack with high temperatures.
- Glitch Trainers often own a seemingly non-glitched Flareon.
Origin
It has traits of rabbits, chinchillas, and cats.
Name origin
Flareon's name is derived from flare. Eon is Eevee's proto-type name, in which Flareon evolves from. Its Japanese name may refer to rocket boosters, which propel things by combustion of fuel.
In other languages
- German: Flamara - Based off of the English word, flame.
- French: Pyroli - Based on pyro.
- Korean: 부스터 Buseuta
