Route 201 is a route in Sinnoh. This route is the first route in the 200s, and by extension, the first route that can be traveled on in Diamond, Pearl and Platinum.
Route 201 primarily connects Lake Verity and Sandgem Town, but the route is also accessible from Twinleaf Town in the south. The westernmost portion of this route is considered Verity Lakefront. This stretches from the gap of trees just west of Twinleaf Town all the way to Lake Verity. It is a small path through a lush, green, wooded area. The trees give off thick aromas.

A colored background means that the Pokémon can be found in this location in the specified game. A white background with a colored letter means that the Pokémon cannot be found here.
In the anime, Route 201 was featured prominently in Following a Maiden's Voyage!. It was, in fact, the first route to have any signage shown in the anime and continues to be.
