However, its appearance is arguably more similar to siamese cats. Sure doesn't look like one to me, looks more like a cougar.

I donno, dude, I look at the early art and it looked like a cougar to me. The personality has changed, but not so much the art. It's gotten more streamlined, but so did a lot of things for FRLG.

Does this really qualify as trivia? "Both of Persian's abilities can be used by a member of the Tyrogue evolution line (Hitmonlee has Limber, and Hitmontop has Technician)."
