BEFORE YOU COMMENT!!
There's been rumblings of too much non-pedia discussion around here, so, in best interest of that, if you want to tell me something personal, or just plain off-topic, send me a PM OR visit the new Bulbapedia Discussion Forum, instead of commenting here.
BTW...tired of waiting for a new Pokémon game just to tackle some new gyms? Then bring it on.
I'm watching you... |

Templates
Why are so many protected from autoconfirmed users? It's not like we get that many "Impossible Sharked Bulbasaurs" anymore, so why the barrier? --Bulbapedian - Talk 02:20, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
- if a vandal attacks a template, thats X pages now affected. but moreover, if youre referring to the templates i just protected, well, they dont need to be touched, so, why SHOULDNT they be protected? -- MAGNEDETH 02:21, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
- No, no. Don't need to edit those ones. I meant templates in general. It seems as if many are. Just thought a little freedom and mobility could be benefited from. --Bulbapedian - Talk 02:24, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
Are {{g|}} and {{ga|}} both used as shortcuts for the game template? I think I may have seen them both work in the past, but I just want to be sure. --Bulbapedian - Talk 01:56, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
- hmm, im not sure. youre best bet might be to ask Mav. hes been really tackling the templates these days. -- MAGNEDETH 01:59, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
Serebii.net Special characters
Why shouldn't we externally link to Serebii.net for Special characters? The only entries listed were in Japanese, so I thought that since the vast majority of our readers are only fluent in English, they should be able to read a more complete bio on each character. Hypo Prower 01:23, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
- because we are Bulbapedia, not Serebii. now, im going to go remove those Japanese links that someone put there that arent supposed to be there. -- MAGNEDETH 01:24, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
- That doesn't make any sense. Every external link listed should be a different website. I mean, would we not put TRsRockin.com on the TRsRockin.com article just because it's a different fan site? I just don't see what's wrong with having a link to a more complete bio than what's even on Bulbapedia itself. Hypo Prower 20:57, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
- the point is to expand OUR articles, not tell people to go to another site. the TRs thing, thats only glitches. -- MAGNEDETH 20:58, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
- OK, I kinda see your point, but why don't we just expand our glitch articles to have the same info as TRsRockin? Hypo Prower 22:37, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
- because thatd be copying. plagiarism. granted, for i know were partners with them or something. or for all i know, were not and shouldnt have their links on your site! i should look into that. -- MAGNEDETH 22:38, 1 February 2009
- It isn't stealing if we rewrite it in our own words. — THE TROM — 22:41, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

User talk:Sketch/Archive 2
You protected that archive, but RexRacer didn't get permission to archive it in the first place. Can you please un-protect it and move it back? 0° 00:38, 2 February 2009 (UTC)

Hey!
Do you think you can create a template: Template:Movelist/body/special/2? I somewhat need it to add the special moves of Gen II Pokemon... ht14 03:06, 2 February 2009 (UTC)

Administrator Status
In order to keep our Administrator list currently up-to-date, this is a generic "are you there" message.
You've been assumed as currently active and are already marked as such, but if you disagree with this, either edit the List of administrators to reflect your status (Active, Hiatus, Inactive, or EVIL BASTARD), or reply here when you get the chance. -- Jïörüjï Ðērākō.>.cнаt^ 16:11, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
- EVIL BASTARD! -- MAGNEDETH 22:21, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
- Too big. Won't fit in the table. But no worries, the status is implied strongly. -- Jïörüjï Ðērākō.>.cнаt^ 22:45, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

Multiple Edits
The reason I am making multiple edits is because I couldn't find the edit mode. On the wiki I am used to, it is on the left side-bar, but on this wiki it is not there. So I was going through and editing things one section at a time. Though, I think I see it now, on the top of the page, so that shouldn't happen again.
Also, I deleted the new user-info off of my talk page, but not anything that Rex said to me. At least, I did not mean to delete anything that rex said to me. - unsigned comment from Jacobe (talk • contribs)
- well, not all wikis are the same and im inclined to think youre not even entirely familiar how a wiki works. you removed the welcome template, which is against the rules, but, you should probably actually look through the template and read on our policies and general rules of editing. also, you dont have to go to someone elses page to comment, it breaks up the conversation. -- MAGNEDETH 00:58, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
Multiple Edits
Sorry about the multiple editing. I was trying to get my userspace to look good. I'll less edit next time. - unsigned comment from Stevenyeffcoat (talk • contribs)
- a good looking userspace is not a necessity. also, please sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). -- MAGNEDETH 03:06, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

Picture
I noticed your picture for one of your anime episodes isn't showing. You should ask Mamoswine Gliscor (User) about it. He helped me out with mine. Pyles 22:37, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
- its broken because it will soon be used. ive got it covered. -- MAGNEDETH 22:43, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
RE:ReDir
I'm just trying to help. Are there any other page's that need redirecting? Conanfan1412 02:20, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
- i understand youre trying to help, and thats fine, but, really minor characters (whos pages are actually under investigation for notability no less) dont need redirects to their respective pages. off the top of my head, i am not aware of pages that need redirect. also, dont reply on my page, just reply on your own. it keeps the conversation in one place. -- MAGNEDETH 02:22, 10 February 2009 (UTC)

Hi, sorry I've been editing my user page so much! I tried to do it a bit less today, my page is coming along nicely now so I won't be doing much to it now :) Taromon777 20:18, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
New Project?
Would it be okay if I made a new project? I was going to make it about fandom (i.e., fansites), but a few users told me I should check with an admin first. シンジShinjiLover,Edits 23:24, 13 February 2009 (UTC)

Togepi evolution line gender ratios
I'm sorry, but 223 is not the correct gendercode for Togepi and its evolution line. If it were, the line's gender ratio would be 87.5% favoring female (to which 223 is that ratio's gendercode), thus making Fein's shadow Togetic very easy to obtain as a female. However, the evolution line's actual gender ratio is 87.5% favoring male (this ratio's gendercode is 31), which means the shadow Togetic is an absolute ***** to try to get female. I don't see how you honestly believed Togepi and its evolution line was female-dominated, especially given how Mystery Dungeon 1 portrayed Togetic and Blissey (a female-only species) as lovers in some Wonder Mail deliveries...--Shiningpikablu252 04:38, 15 February 2009 (UTC)
- whoa, relax. your edit summary made it sound like you wanted the female code. i probably read it too fast. -- MAGNEDETH 04:39, 15 February 2009 (UTC)
- *takes credit for stuffup*..... got confused.... — THE TROM — 06:09, 15 February 2009 (UTC)
- When I said "but we've yet to get one", I was referring to a Pokémon whose gender ratio is 87.5% favoring female, not the gendercode for such a Pokémon. --Shiningpikablu252 18:54, 16 February 2009 (UTC)

Re: Stop.
What is the point of the userpage policy? On Wikipedia, userpages are vandalized all the time, and there's no upper limit to the number of userpage edits. 欠番 21:26, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
- we are not wikipedia. we prefer people be useful and edit the mainspace, not the userspace. -- MAGNEDETH 21:27, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

Laziness Templates
Not to start an argument again, but if we can't have Template:wild as a template, why do we have Template:Shadow??? --Theryguy512 16:42, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
- As you can see in a WLH, the use of that template is being deprecated, and it will be deleted shortly. — THE TROM — 19:51, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
Signature template?
That wasn't a template, but okay :/
Anyway, that's the only way I know for how to customize a signature.--Dark Chaos 04:33, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
- you input the signature into its location under the "my preferences" tab. your signature, before deletion, was
DarkChaos
- you can see the code to input when you edit this section.- also, instead of coming to my page to talk, you can just reply on your own page. -- MAGNEDETH 04:39, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
