Ambertwo's death

When and where did anything ever say that Ambertwo and the other clones died from "exhaustion due to being a clone" in the birth of Mewtwo or anything for that matter. It is not explained why they die they just do to my knowledge, correct me if I'm wrong. Also, wo said the will of a human isn't as strong as the will of a pokemon? If thats truw then the Ambertwo should have died first, then charmandertwo, followed by Squiertletwo and bulbasaurtwo, and that didn't happen.Wikid 01:20, 5 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

As Jmath, JSFighter or anyone else has thus far not said anything to explain their added unlikely info, I have changed it back to what it last was. But I'm pretty certain that it never gives you the reason as to why they died at all, so even what I cahnged it to still seems rather wrong.--Tails Clock 13:27, 25 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Computer Attack

Italic textA computer attacked and killed him to protect the scientists, but Mewtwo quickly regenerated and destroyed the island and everyone on it. Italic text When did that happen?

In the movie, in the first few opening scenes. Wikid 01:20, 5 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
Killed? It totally missed; Mewtwo is too powerful. TTEchidna 02:57, 5 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

That computer most certaintly didn't kill him. It latched on to him and then Mewtwo just simply blasted it off of him. --いぬみみ 01:58, 28 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Giovanni's?

I think the infobox shouldn't mention Giovanni if Mewtwo isn't referred to as Giovanni's Mewtwo in the title or the rest of the article. --Johans 19:49, 18 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Gender

I don't think Mewtwo's gender should be "none" since it's unknown if genderless Pokemon apply in the anime, and therefore, not 100% confirmed. In fact i think it's very unlikely that it's genderless since there was a female (mother) Lugia in the series, so it should be "Unknown" (GT4GTR 11:18, 16 June 2008 (UTC))Reply

I think we should go a bit further and addend the "unknown" and add "likely male" since all of Mewtwo's voice actors (even the Japanese ones) have been men. Also, I believe Mewtwo was referred to as a 'he' in the anime; and in the article Mewtwo is referred to as male. -Lord Hyren 04:44, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
Well, if Mewtwo was referred to as a "He" in the anime, go ahead and change it. However, I just want to mention that VA's aren't exactly a determining factor of whether a Pokémon character is male or female. I mean, Ash's VA in almost all versions was a girl, and Ash IS a Guy. - unsigned comment from Weedle Mchairybug (talkcontribs)
Nuh-uh, Ash is totally a girl. TTEchidna 00:39, 29 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
No, actually, he was indeed a guy. They always refer to Ash as a guy. Ashley was a disguise so he could sneak into the Celadon Gym, and wearing a dress doesn't make you a girl any more than wearing a cape makes you batman. Weedle Mchairybug 02:15, 29 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
So those people who get brat implants aren't ladies? It's the Θρtιmαtum♏Talk|Links02:18 29 Jun 2008
Wait... WHAT?! What did you mean "Brat implants"? I only mentioned that guys who wear dresses aren't girls anymore than little kids who wear capes are batman. Weedle Mchairybug 11:37, 29 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Didn't mean to be sick, but I meant 'breast'. It's the Θρtιmαtum♏Talk|Links11:44 29 Jun 2008

Ash's voice at least sounds male and that's what counts IMO. Same as Mewtwo. --いぬみみ 01:55, 28 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Even though I think Mewtwo is a male, unless it is confirmed, it should be unknown. Also, we need to remove the gender specific pronouns in articles where the Pokémon's gender is unconfirmed, such as this.--Starlight the ampharos 00:01, 11 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

If Mewtwo's gender is listed as "Unknown" in the infobox, then why is he constantly referred to as "he" in the actual article? We should either list him as male in the infobox, or refer to him as "it" in the article. I'm not really sure which, because although I personally think he is male, I recall the characters in the anime referring to him as "it" several times. Taromon777 11:52, 18 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Should it...

Should it have a party table consisting of the Pokémon it cloned?--KukiTalk 12:52, 18 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

I don;t think a party table is the way to go. If we want to, maybe we can just have a section listing the clones. --electAbuzzzz (TALK) 13:06, 18 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Isn't that the same idea?--KukiTalk 13:08, 18 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Movie

Did you watch the movie that was meant to be the prequel of the movie? See this link: http://serebii.net/movies/mewtwo/origin/pics2.shtml. It's one we STILL didn't create yet, and features Amber... ht14 21:37, 24 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Shadow Ball

Should it be mentioned that Mewtwo used Shadow Ball? The move was introduced in Generation II and Mewtwo was probably not even meant to use Shadow Ball. Jmath 15:50, 26 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

It is already, and think about it, Harrison's Blaziken used Blaze Kick before Generation III began. Same rules.--KukiTalk 15:52, 26 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

That's different since when the Silver Conference came around, Generation III was already out. While Generation II was not even known about at the time of the movie. Jmath 15:54, 26 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

How do u know that--KukiTalk 15:54, 26 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

I remember reading about it somewhere a long time back. Jmath 15:56, 26 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

They could've been plannng to put it in. Remember Snubbull and Marill in Pikachu's Vacation, the short that preceded the feature presentation?--KukiTalk 15:58, 26 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

It's possible but still not definite. That's why I don't think it should be in the moves section. A small mention would be enough in the trivia section. Jmath 16:02, 26 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Venusaur/Charizard/Blastoise Nicknames?

Shouldn't we put their nicknames? Venusaur is Bruteroot...Nintendofan146B 00:35, 8 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

The originals were Bruteroot and Shellshocker, yes, but the clones weren't. I don't think the clones were even of those particular Venusaur and Blastoise, if I recall correctly. --((Marton imos)) 00:36, 8 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Other Pokemon

Shouldn't there be a table for other pokemon like the dragonite and the fearow that mewtwo used as service pokemon?--いぬみみ 00:49, 4 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Cloak?

Might Mewtwo's cloak have been inspired by the cloak of Forte.EXE, or vice-versa? --Alex S. 03:26, 1 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

That Dragonite Messenger sprites sucks! Why keep it? Why not just remake it?
