Blizzard (Japanese: ふぶき Snowstorm) is a damage-dealing Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation I. It is TM14 in every generation so far.
Effect
Generation I
Blizzard does damage and has a 9.8% chance of freezing the target. It can't freeze a target that has a Substitute or already has a major status ailment. It has an accuracy of 89.5% in Generation I.
Generation II
Same as before, but 10% chance of freezing and 70% accuracy instead.
Generation IV
Blizzard has an accuracy of 100% if used while it is hailing.

Trivia
- Suicune is the only non-Template:Type2 to learn Blizzard naturally, but only in Pokémon Platinum. Prior to its release, all Pokémon that could learn Blizzard by leveling up were at least part-Template:Type2.
