Rayquaza (Japanese: レックウザ Rayquaza) appeared in the movie Destiny Deoxys. It is voiced by Katsuyuki Konishi in both English and Japanese.
Four years before the events in the movie took place, Rayquaza was disturbed by a Deoxys at the North Pole. The Deoxys did not mean harm, but Rayquaza attacked it, and a huge battle followed. Rayquaza seemed to win when it used a Hyper Beam at a close range, and disappeared again into the sky.
Four years later, Deoxys regenerated and traveled to LaRousse City in search of its friend. Rayquaza went after it and attacked them in the streets of LaRousse. Eventually Rayquaza was engulfed by Block Bots, and saved by Deoxys, Ash and Tory. It then left LaRousse.
