Rayquaza (Japanese: レックウザ Rayquaza) is a Dragon/Flying-type Pokémon. In Pokémon Emerald, it served to end the conflict between Groudon and Kyogre when Team Magma's leader Maxie and Team Aqua's leader Archie awakened them.
Rayquaza has the Ability Air Lock, which blocks all effects of weather conditions on the field when it is in battle.
Biology
Physiology
Rayquaza is large, green serpentine creature with rudder-like wings. Yellow rings run across the length of Rayquaza's body and an additional yellow ring in on top of its head. Raquaza has arms with three-fingered hands. Raquaza has long, flat "horns" on its head and two smaller horns below them.
Gender differences
Rayquaza is genderless.
Special abilities
Rayquaza is capable of using various elemental attacks. It is also unable to be affected by weather conditions. Since Rayquaza is a "true" Dragon-type Pokémon, it can know Meteoric Swarm.

NOTE: When Rayquaza is encountered it is level 70, with the moves Outrage, Extremespeed, Fly, and Rest. The rest of the moves in the list are capable of being learned from the move tutor, which means Rayquaza would naturally learn them if trained from level 5 onward.
