(Japanese: タマンタ Tamanta) is a new Generation IV Pokémon - revealed in March 2006 alongside Buoysel and Chatot - that appeared in the movie Pokémon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea.

In "Pokémon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea", Jack Walker uses the Capture Stylus on Tamanta in order to use it to help him, and Ash and co. escape from Captain Phantom.
