Quotes
When first met:
...I'm Marley.
...You are..? [player], I want to get through this cave, can I come with you?
When joined:
...Pokémon shouldn't be hurt... I'll heal them...
In conversation:
... You're very chatty.
...The Pokémon among flowers...
Deeper in the cave:
...Oh! This is it. There's a stone tablet ahead... I wanted to see the Pokémon that visits, that's all... I appreciate your escorting me...
...Just a little...
If you choose to leave the cave
" ...You're going back... Too bad... Bye-bye...
When you return after leaving the cave
...You took so long... Please don't make me wait... I felt a little forlorn waiting...
Losing in battle:
...My time with you is drawing to a close...
After battle:
...You're so strong. It makes me feel happy. ...I don't know why. This is a strange feeling...
...I might like battling with you. ...Just a little. Only a tiny bit.
Approaching Route 224 Tablet in the Oak's Letter Event:
I... I don't like to talk... I choose my words carefully, but they may still hurt someone accidentally... When I think of that, I clam up...
That's why I think this certain Pokemon is so wonderful. It's a Pokemon that conveys the feelings of gratitude in a nice way...
That stone tablet... It has a strange feel to it...
Thank you... That must have been the Pokemon that conveys the feelingss of gratitude... You made it so I could see it... So, I'll have to convey thanks in my own words, too...
To you, too... Thank you..."
Trivia
- Marley's outfit is based on the Japanese gothic lolita style.
- Marley appears to have an interest in Shaymin, and often refers to it when the player speaks to her. She is also involved in the event to catch Shaymin.
- Marley is the only one of the stat Trainers to not use at least one legendary Pokémon in the Battle Tower in Diamond and Pearl. This changes in Platinum, as she has a Raikou.
