This was the first time I've beaten the Elite Four ''and'' the Champion since Gold version over three years back! I was so excited, that I completely forgot about the Battle Frontier and just kept thinking about the Fight Area!! Once I was there, I teamed up with Barry and easily beat Volkner and Flint(Barry wasn't much help ''at all''). After that, Barry's Dad(I ''never'' knew that Barry's dad would make an appearance in the games) came through the Frontier Gate and talked with me and Barry.
