He tried to catch James and make him marry Jessiebelle.

Spinarak first appeared in DP153. It battled James and Mime Jr., and quickly lost against Mime Jr.'s Teeter Dance. Spinarak and its owner - both confused by Mime Jr.'s attack - fell down a chute, ending the battle.
