Miyamoto's origin?

Does anyone know which episode/movie/whatever she debuted in? If so, could that person put in the relevant info into the article and some linkage please?

Oh, it's not here! Well, she's only in a radio drama that went with the first movie.--Loveはドコ? (talk contribs) 22:54, 18 June 2008 (UTC)

Name?

What about Shigeru Miyamoto, owner of nintendo and person looked up to most by Pokémon's creator (Ash's Japanese name, Satoshi, came directly from Pokémon's creator himself, remember.) Me and my fellow torchics agree on this - Sk8torchic 19:54, 9 November 2008 (UTC)

It was most likely based on the swordsman Miyamoto Musashi in connection with Jessie's Japanese name. That wouldn't make any sense to why she would be named after Shigeru Miyamoto. --ケンジガール 10:43, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
Besides, Shigeru Miyamoto already had a namesake in the anime at the time of this character's debut. My : Coincidence, nothing more. --Shiningpikablu252 16:37, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
