Rica is a well-known seiyū, or voice actor. She is often cast as young male characters, and is perhaps best known for her role as Satoshi (Ash Ketchum) in Pokémon.
Rica is also an accomplished vocalist. She has released five solo albums and has also recorded for the group JAM Project. She can also be heard in several Pokémon openings, including the first opening "Aim to Be a Pokémon Master" and the recent "Best Wishes!".
