Cocoon of Destruction (Japanese: 破壊の繭 Cocoon of Destruction) is the first XY series movie and the seventeenth Pokémon movie overall. It will be released in Japan on July 19, 2014.

The first trailer for the film was shown at the end of M16, containing Xerneas, Yveltal, Chespin, Fennekin and Froakie. Its title was first revealed by CoroCoro on December 15, 2013.
