Air Cutter

Guys I think we should hold of on Air Cutter until Ash actually commands it, especially since he can't use it in game.RBK (talk) 03:12, 25 October 2013 (UTC)

Agreed. And maybe this is not Air Cutter, this can be Razor Wind too, we should hold up--Omojuzeforever (talk) 04:39, 25 October 2013 (UTC)

Wing Attack

Doesn't it use the attack in the gym battle in XY005? ×Impoleon xy× 01:08, 8 November 2013 (UTC)

No. Ataro (talk) 01:17, 8 November 2013 (UTC)
I guess the part with Fletchling's wings glowing and it attacking Vivillon were for XY006? Torpoleon (talk) 01:26, 8 November 2013 (UTC)
Ok, it used prepared Razor Wind. ;) ×Impoleon xy× 10:52, 8 November 2013 (UTC)

Trivia?

Should it be notable that Fletchling is the only basic stage bird Pokemon Ash has had that has gotten an official win. Taillow, Starly and Pidove all evolved before getting an official win. --Dman dustin (talk) 22:50, 12 November 2013 (UTC)

That seems too specific to be notable, but I'm not sure. --Wynd Fox 02:50, 13 November 2013 (UTC)

When Fletchling evolves

When Fletchling evolves, would it be trivia worthy that Fletchinder would become Ash's first Fire-type Pokémon to not have either been previously owned and abandoned by an abusive trainer, was attempted to have been caught by one, nor been attacked by a hoard of wild Pokémon before its capture? Or does that only apply to Pokémon that were Fire-types to begin with? --PKMNAdventurer (talk) 00:03, 14 January 2014 (UTC)

I'd say it' not notable because of how many caveats you have to add on to make it unique. Glik (talk) 00:13, 14 January 2014 (UTC)
As Glik said, too specific. And since it wasn't a Fire-type at the time of capture, it does not apply. Ataro (talk) 00:33, 14 January 2014 (UTC)
It seems somewhat less specific when you shorten it to "Ash's first Fire-type Pokémon that he didn't rescue in some way", but, again, it wasn't Fire-type at capture, so whatever. -- EnosShayremtalk 00:36, 14 January 2014 (UTC)
While I agree with the statement above, It would seem more logical to say "After its evolution, it became the first fire type Ash did not rescue in any way", This gives the readers the information that it was AFTER it evolved. But what I would like to know is where is the evidence of its evolution? Thanks Waterninja12345 (talk) 18:35, 15 April 2014 (UTC)
Even if it's considered notable, it should be added if and when it actually evolves into Fletchinder. Pikachu Bros. (talk) 18:38, 15 April 2014 (UTC)

Evolution

Hi everyone. I realized that the page became protected due to evidence of evolution. Where is this evidence? Cause I never seen it pointed out in previews? Thanks - Waterninja12345 (talk) 13:50, 16 April 2014 (UTC)

CoroCoro. Pikachu Bros. (talk) 13:52, 16 April 2014 (UTC)
Thanks, but a bit more specific? Because just saying CoroCoro is all well and good, but it does not give me the full information. Because I want to find the evidence but its hard to make out what issue of CoroCoro it would be in. Thanks - Waterninja12345 (talk) 21:04, 16 April 2014 (UTC)
Unfortunately, we can't put links to external sites for things like this. Personally, I saw it on a calendar-like poster on the forums. If you really want hard proof for yourself, I'd advise to look around the major Pokémon forums. ☼ BlazingFist ☼ 21:16, 16 April 2014 (UTC)
Waterninja12345, Or alternatively you could look up the new japanese opening for the XY series on youtube or something--Ditto51/Tom (My Talk Page) 07:16, 24 June 2014 (UTC)
Read the timestamp. That post was made before that opening even debuted. Ataro (talk) 08:01, 24 June 2014 (UTC)

Fletchling's evolution in XY036

In the preview for XY036, it shows Fletchling glowing while being engulfed in Talonflame's Flamethrower. I could be wrong, but could this be saying that Fletchling will evolve in this episode? --PKMNAdventurer (talk) 23:40, 13 July 2014 (UTC)

Yes. We're not touching anything until the episode airs, though. Ataro (talk) 23:43, 13 July 2014 (UTC)
Ok. I was wondering if anyone who can edit this page edit the tag so it would say "evolve in XY036", not "evolve in a future episode"? --PKMNAdventurer (talk) 23:49, 13 July 2014 (UTC)
Personally (although unlikely), there could be a small chance it is NOT Ash's, so it's best to leave it intill the episode. Tho it is unlikely, it could be a possibility Waterninja12345 (talk) 22:41, 19 July 2014 (UTC)

Move

It has been confirmed that Ash had a Fletchinder in the movie, instead of Fletchling. And since the movie has been officially released today, is any staff member against the move? I personally do not see a valid reason to wait for the episode to air, now that the movie is already out. AdynizWanna talk? 03:00, 19 July 2014 (UTC)

No issues here. --Pokemaster97 03:21, 19 July 2014 (UTC)
Well, the move stunned me. However, it could not explain why Ash obtain a Fletchling in XY036, although the evolution was confirmed to happen at this episode. Raymond 16:19, 20 July 2014 (UTC)

Trivia for Ash's Fletchinder

I have another trivia for Ash's Fletchinder: Fletchinder is Ash's second Fire/Flying Pokémon. The first is Charizard.--ChristianChristian (talk) 20:34, 4 August 2014 (UTC)
