My nuggets of advice to contributors
- Read the Manual of style.
- Specifically, use link templates:

- A poll should never be the first thought when resolving a dispute. If a result can be reached by a simple discussion using actual reasoning then it will be far more solid.
- With that said, never use the argument "if we have x, why not y?" When it comes to judgements of notability, each article is judged on its own merits. The names of articles for anime Pokémon that are owned by a trainer also get too subtle around Sabrina's Haunter and Ash's Larvitar for such a broad usage.
- Bulbapedia is an encyclopedia first so if you are going to register then please do some helpful editing to the mainspace. It's sad to see so many userspace edits take the space in the recent changes.
