Standard formats

The 2018-19 Standard format of the Pokémon Trading Card Game, formally called the Modified format, is the current Standard format used (alongside the current Expanded format) for Play! Pokémon organized play and in most sanctioned tournaments worldwide. It is also used in the Pokémon Trading Card Game Online.

Play period

The 2018-19 Standard format was announced on May 15, 2018, rotating out all sets from the XY BREAK Series.
