This card was included in the Ultra Prism expansion with artwork by Mitsuhiro Arita, first released in the Japanese Ultra Moon expansion. A Non Holo variant was included in the Mach StrikeTheme Deck. A SM Black Star Promotional print of this card was one of the Prerelease promos for Ultra Prism, with different artwork by the same artist, available in the Ultra Prism Prerelease Kit. A print with a gold foil "Staff" stamp was given to those overseeing the event. The Ultra Prism print and a new print with artwork by Kouki Saitou featuring the Shiny version of Lucario, were later included in the Japanese GX Ultra Shiny subset.
