Errors
- Deoxys is stated to be a Legendary Pokémon rather than a Mythical Pokémon.
- A fact listed on Deoxys' page is that "Deoxys used to be a Mythical Pokémon. Now it is categorized as Legendary". This is actually the other way around, because the term “Mythical Pokémon” did not exist until Gen 5.
- Mewtwo and Mega Mewtwo Y's category are listed as "New Species Pokemon" rather than "Genetic Pokemon".
- The book incorrectly implies that Ho-Oh gives Ash memories of his first day as a Trainer when it technically doesn't.
