i think it is a reference to the childish game connect the dots
- Dottler appears to be partially inspired by a radome, which have dots on them at the vertex of each triangle. I think the spots are a reference to this and not "connect the dots." - SpinyShell (talk) 01:16, 18 January 2021 (UTC)
