Raticate (Japanese: ラッタ Ratta) is a Colorless-type Stage 1 Pokémon card. It was first released as part of the Base Set.
Card text
Does damage to the Defending Pokémon equal to half the Defending Pokémon's remaining HP (rounded up to the nearest 10).
Pokédex data
It uses its whiskers to maintain its balance. It seems to slow down if they are cut off.

Release information
Prototype Pokémon Leagues received the Trainer Deck A, which included this card, before the Base Set's release. The cards in this deck have a red border and "Trainer Deck A" printed on the back. This card was included in the Base Set, first released in the Japanese Expansion Pack. It was reprinted in the Base Set 2 and Legendary Collection expansions.

Bite is a move in the Pokémon games that Raticate cannot learn until Pokémon Gold and Silver by breeding in Generation II onwards. Super Fang is a move in the Pokémon games that Raticate can learn. This card's English Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Red and Blue, whereas the Japanese entry comes from Pokémon Red and Green.
