Teruo Taniguchi (Japanese: 谷口輝雄) is a Japanese video game composer and sound designer working under the company SuperSweep. Taniguchi first worked with Game Freak by contributing sound effects and jingles to Pokémon Black 2 and White 2. He is known for his work on Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, for which he composed various Team Star themes.[1] Taniguchi also worked as a sound designer on Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
In addition to his work on the core series games, Taniguchi has contributed to Pokémon Quest as a composer, as well as to other Game Freak titles such as Giga Wrecker.
