Snow Cloak (Japanese: ゆきがくれ Hidden in the Snow) is an ability introduced in Generation IV that causes evasion to increase by 20% in a hailstorm. Five Pokémon have this ability, all of them Template:Type2. Outside of battle, if the Pokémon with Snow Cloak is leading the party in an area with a blizzard, then Snow Cloak decreases the wild Pokémon encounter rate by 50% (see also Sand Veil). If a non Template:Type2 Type Pokémon acquires this ability, it will receive no damage from hail.
