Takeshi's Kentauros

Where exactly did it say the Kentauros belonged to Satoshi? I just finished watching the ep and they showed no sign that it belonged to him. We just see Takeshi throwing the ball, catching it, and picking it up. He never gives it to Satoshi or anything.--Biccy 05:01, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

Watch to The Right Place and the Right Mime. This episode clearly shows the Tauros belonging to Ash. - Taylor 13:45, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
What does that episode say about the Tauros Brock caught? --FabuVinny 14:36, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
That's what I'm wondering. ?_? We see the Kentaruos Satoshi caught but I don't remember anything about Takeshi's. - Biccy 20:22, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
Proof. More proof. 8:36 into that video.
I have the episode. That doesn't prove anything. :/ Takeshi caught it himself, so it belongs to him. It shouldn't matter whose ball he actually used, and I can't think of any other moment in the series this actually mattered.--Biccy 06:27, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
If you agree that Brock caught a Tauros, why did you remove the section wanting proof that Brock caught a Tauros. 0_o --FabuVinny 12:46, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
I'm mostly trying to erase it because it says that it belongs to Satoshi, when there's really no actual need to believe that. Fact that Satoshi didn't really seem to care about it, but twitched when he caught more than one, says to me that the one Takeshi caught actually belonged to Takeshi himself.

But Ash still has all 30 Tauros, so I'd assume that Brock either was helping him catch the Tauros with the balls, or figured that since Ash caught the rest of the herd (which we didn't actually ever see happen either), he gave the Tauros to him. --TTEchidna 08:26, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

Brock has never referred to the Tauros he caught since and we only saw one set of 30 balls. Misty also helped out when they started fishing.
But if you count them in the article's picture, there are only 24 there... --FabuVinny 12:40, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
Obviously, Brock used the Tauros he caught to make dinner that night. --Zeta 15:39, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
Umm, just because Brock caught the Tauros himself does not mean that it belongs to him. If i should point out, Brock caught Vulpix, and even HE said that it didn't really belong to him. Plus, Ash caught a beedrill with his park ball, yet it was officially casey's Beedrill because he gave it to her. I'd say that it belongs to Ash. Also, we know he caught 30 tauros since the Safari zone allows 30 safari balls per customer, and the only ones he caught were Tauros (Otherwise, he would have referenced his other pokemon that he caught. In fact, Professor Oak said in the next episode they appeared in [and in the case of many countries outside of Japan, the first time] that they all contained Tauros. First confirmed male?

Okay. Everyone is saying that Tauros is the first confirmed male Pokémon in the anime. Then you go on to talk about Pikachu, Charizard, and Sceptile possibly being male. Well aren't you forgeting someone really important that's with out a doubt male? MEOWTH!!! Come on! The Pokémon actually says he's male! So why are we saying that Ash's Tauros is the first? --<spanstyle="color:#0005CD;">☆ケンジガール 03:08, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

Don't 4get tht Meowzie is female so there!--KukiTalk 00:09, 10 June 2008 (UTC)

Dat's right! I dunno, but is he actually "captured"? TTEchidna 04:36, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
Guess not... But it's still notable, right? I'm tired of people saying that Ash's Tauros and Brock's Happiny are the only Pokémon owned by a main character that has a confirmed gender. I know that Meowth isn't technically "owned" but he is part of the main cast, and thus was the first main character Pokémon to have a confirmed gender. --ケンジガール 04:56, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
Wouldn't the first of Ash's Pokémon to be confirmed male be his Butterfree? sorry im kinda late on this subject... -__-;; → User:Thomas1652

Contradiction

In the article, it says: "Ash primarily uses and trains one specific Tauros, beginning when he needed..." Then, in the trivia: "It has never been revealed whether Ash uses the same Tauros whenever one of them is transferred to him or if Professor Oak simply sends him a random one each time." So...which is it? ^_^; ~RR~ 00:06, 10 June 2008 (UTC)

There, how's that? Might need some kind of different wording but...eh, looks good to me. -Sketchies 18:42, 16 June 2008 (UTC)

Silver Cup

I think that there should be mention that Ash used one of his Tauros against Gary's Nidoqueen during the Silver Cup competition. The Tauros used Horn Attack, which was countered by Nidoqueen simply grabbing both horns, and then Nidoqueen tossed Tauros against a rock causing an instant KO. I don't remember any other details about the episode other than that, otherwise I would add the info myself. Crenel 21:17, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
