Random trial-&-error for use in the walkthroughs
I believe that wherever possible, the following data should be collapsible in order to be brief yet comprehensive.
This way, when the player has left a specific place, that location's now-irrelevant information can be hidden away again. This should hopefully help to streamline the walkthrough pages.

The current formatting seems to be a better choice, keeping the background layer with "Pewter Gym" expanded to begin with.

I think the heading "Available Pokémon" is more appropriate, since this data would be listed under each new relevant location that is encountered during gameplay.
It's probably easier to leave the extra column(s) and light up the relevant version(s).
Item data
The "Games" column should be kept, in order to address potential variations between versions, like the above examples.
