Fussing and Fighting is the first round in the Black & White arc of the Pokémon Adventures manga.

Synopsis

Template:Spoiler The round starts in on an evening in Nuvema Town, with Professor Juniper on a phone call. As Professor Juniper is about to have dinner, she goes to put back the starter Pokémon into their Poké Balls in order to be given to their trainers the next day. Professor Juniper receives a phone call from Fennel and leaves the starters unattended. Tepig smells the dinner that Professor Juniper had prepared and attempts to eat it.

As Tepig jumps onto the table, he hits the table which rocks back and forth and drops Professor Juniper's dinner. Tepig spys a berry and roasts it, then begins to eat it. While Tepig starts to eat Professor Juniper's dinner, Snivy is hit by something and begins to clean itself. Satisfied whatever hit it was gone it goes on its way, only to get hit in the face with more food. A furious Snivy then attacks Tepig. As Snivy and Tepig start to attack each other, Oshawott attempts to calm them down. Both Snivy and Tepig smash Oshawott onto a wall, an angry Oshawott starts to attack the other Pokémon. As Oshawott starts attacking with its scalchop, it knocks over several items. During Professor Juniper's call with Fennel, Fennel informs Professor Juniper about her discovery on Dream Mist. As Oshawott knocks over a pitcher of water, Professor Juniper returns to find the mess the starter Pokémon had created. Professor Juniper worries about the situation with the starter Pokémon and if they are able to form a bond with their future trainers.
