Samiya

Thanks for asking about the issue surrounding Chuang Yi's "Ferina" mess-up on Forina, but I've had to go and undo many edits you made concerning another Chuang Yi mess-up, this time "Samaya" on Samiya. The same DVD subtitle evidence that confirms Forina also confirms Samiya. Generally, a US DVD should be considered more trustworthy than a Singapore manga translation.

I hope you understand why I did this. --Shiningpikablu252 15:51, 27 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Language

Sorry about changing all of them, but in a sentence when 의 is kind of like a particle joining to the two parts of the sentence together, most people use an e sound than a n yi sound. The yi sound is only usually used sometimes and rarely used in conversational language And sorry about some. I never learrnt romanising or anything.--Wowy 11:22, 29 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Portuguese town names

Yeah, I know that they are really weird (even for Brazilian people), but yes, they are the real names from the anime! Rikki Kitsune ~ リッキ キツネ 18:39, 4 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
No, there are just some of them changed. Violet, Goldenrod, Cianwood, Olivine and (I think) Cherrygrove were changed, but New Bark, Azalea, Ecruteak, Mahogany and Blackthorn remained the same. The reason for this, I don't know, though.
Okay, you're welcome! ^^ Rikki Kitsune ~ リッキ キツネ 18:49, 4 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia

I got Keith's and Isaac's names from Nintendo Tour here in Monterrey on November 1. It had the games on for people to play it, So I learnt a few names from it

Keith, Isaac(Though I must admit my memory may be wrong on this one... so I'll leave it as Iori), Rythmi(Kellyn's other friend who dreams on being a Ranger Operator), Luana(Pokemon Ranger), Crawford(Pokemon Ranger), Ms.April(Teacher).

I only got to Rank 2 on the game in the Con. but I guess it was kind of enough... I also found Batonnage is named Vatonage in the NA Version.

http://www.nintendo-tour.com/

It's in spanish, but is for you to believe me that this event actually existed xD - unsigned comment from KengoMel (talkcontribs))

We knew Batonnage was Vatonage last Saturday, when the Ranger episode aired in the US. Luna Tiger * the Arc Toraph 01:06, 6 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Names

Well, Hitomi's name didn't appear. And the villanous teacher's name of course did appear, but it was a little bit strange for me to remember. And yup. You guessed all of the characters.... plus, I agree, Rythmi is such a weird name. For missions, I remember the first official one was 'Deliver the Vien Tribune!', as of places, I remember Nabiki Beach... which is the beach west of Vientown, and if I'm not wrong, Marine Cave stayed the same. And yes, it was pretty cool to play it before the premiere... but I was on some tournaments and so I wasn't able to advance more... and when I went to play again, the DS in which I was playing was being used, the others were at the beggining since most people got boring with the super-extra-ridiculously long introduction haha. - unsigned comment from KengoMel (talkcontribs))

Ranger locations

Since you seem to be an expert on the English names of Ranger stuff, I'm asking for your help in completing the transition of some names between Japanese and English. Feel free to refuse this request if you want to (also feel free to blast any English translations if you want to as well), but if you're willing to help me, here's what I'm looking for:

  • Hiaburu Field: What's its English name supposed to be? It didn't appear on serebii.net's list, hence I have no clue on how to handle it...
  • The Ice Lake: What's its English name supposed to be? It didn't appear on serebii.net's list, hence I have no clue on how to handle it...
  • Inochi Cliff-side: serebii.net only listed the main Peril Cliffs. I've already switched the cliff-side links to Peril Cliff-side, but is Peril Cliff-side correct?
  • The Almia Times: Did this stay the same?
  • Chikore Field: serebii.net only listed the main Chicole Village. I've already switched the field link to Chicole Field, but is Chicole Field correct?
  • Buruburu Camp: serebii.net only listed the main Shiver Village. I've already switched the camp link to Shiver Camp, but is Shiver Camp correct?
  • Also, if possible, do you have the kanji for "Offshore Oil Platform Hideout" to put on Oil Field Hideout? It's the only kanji call I made when making page moves that hasn't yet been answered...

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for reading this, even if you decide not to help me. --Shiningpikablu252 18:21, 13 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Concerning Rotom

The reason Rotom's page is protected is because some users are using a third-party handbook that lists Rotom as a legendary as 100% proof that Rotom is indeed a legendary, despite an official source confirming otherwise. It's due to ensuing edit warring that the page ended up protected.

Now, then, just what exactly do you want to add to Rotom's page? I know you don't buy the bull**** that got the page protected, so odds are it's something that'll help the page...--Shiningpikablu252 00:39, 16 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

It is an ending for one, and don't say that no one cares. Just because someone doesn't care about it, doesn't mean no one does and it sure doesn't mean it should be deleted. I'm sure there are people out there who don't care about Pokémon, but that doesn't mean we delete Bulbapedia. And furthermore, from what we know at the moment, the lyrics are different. We have translators translation both, and we have people looking into the two Pikachu shorts. (Summer Festival is so rtare ande hard to find on the internet) So, just let this on there for a while until we figure out what's what and if they are different or not. And, like DCM said, I suggest calming down a bit, because you don't get what you want by yelling and being over-zealously mean. Just, tone it down a bit, please. Re:Really

I guess you should say the same to Cold and LordArceus. They are the ones that got me into doing the Japanese redirects. It all started back when I was a new user here, in September. Those were the days, I have to say. The back-and-forth conflict that day got rather fiery, but we all became friends come later times. That is the story about why I do the redirects. Some Korean name to update

Long time no see, Maxim.

The names of the "Three Beasts"...

Carr : 챠크라 (Chakra) Hmmm...reminds me of Naruto somehow...just how do they make up names for these guys...

Sird : 사이키 (Saiki) Obviously from her original Japanese name.

Orm : 프랑켄 (Franken) Ha! Perhaps it's because of his looks...looking a bit like Frankenstein (I hope I spelled this right)

And the Sevii Islands... They are 일곱 섬 in Korean. Pronounced "Il-Kob-Sum", it literally means 'seven (일곱) islands(섬)'.

I am currently waiting for the next manga book (what is taking those editors so long? -_-). I am coming here here and then, so I'll update whatever I know whenever I get the chance. - unsigned comment from Rhm2768 (talkcontribs)

Concerning inter-wiki links for "nonexistant" German articles

Many inter-wiki links to the German wiki were placed there before their server was seized, eventually forcing partial restoration from an old backup while the webmasters wait for their most recent data to be returned (this has yet to occur). Odds are that if a German inter-wiki link is busted, such as the one on Wallace Cup, it's due to the fact that the article in question on the German end was created after the old backup was made. You shouldn't get too concerned about busted inter-wiki links if they're German (unless PokéWiki shuts down permanently, and odds are if that happens, BulbaBot'll handle things), since odds are those articles'll return eventually.

(For the record, no, I did not undo any edits. BulbaBot can handle the link's restoration if PokéWiki's regular data returns.) --Shiningpikablu252 21:48, 16 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
