The Helix and Dome Fossils can be given to a pokémon to hold. So if a pokémon holding the HG-exclusive Helix Fossil is traded to SoulSilver (or a pokémon holding the SS-exclusive Dome Fossil is traded to HeartGold), can the trainer still take the fossil and have it revived at Pewter Museum of Science? Split Fossil Pages?
To stay consistent in format with every other item and key item (and the Old Amber), and the fact that some fossils are exclusive to some versions, I see more reason to separate the Fossil pages into their own ones to make them easier to understand without having to read through paragraphs.
