Release information

This card was included in the Rebel Clash expansion with artwork by Mina Nakai, first released in the Japanese Rebellion Crash expansion. It was reprinted as one of the SWSH Black Star Promos with different artwork by Misa Tsutsui and was included in the Darkness Ablaze Single Pack Blisters released August 14, 2020. In Japan, this print was 1 of 7 cards available in promotional packs intended to be awarded to participants of Pokémon Card Gym tournaments held during March, April, and May 2020. Pokémon Card Gym events were among those to be canceled in a statement published on the official Japanese Pokémon Card Game website due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite this, it is evident venues still received packs from The Pokémon Company, hence external knowledge of the cards, and that some venues still distributed them in some way. Events officially resumed from May 23, 2020 and packs were distributed until August. The Japanese version of this print features the Pokémon Card Gym logo.
