The Legendary Shine Collection (Japanese: 伝説キラコレクション) is a sub-set released during the XY Era of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. The set revolves around Legendary Pokémon and features completely Holofoil cards much like the Shiny Collection. It was released on July 18, 2015 to coincide with the Japanese release of Hoopa and the Clash of Ages. As such, most of the Pokémon in the set make appearances in the film.
Information
The Legendary Shine Collection is the second Concept Pack of the Japanese XY Era. It comprises 27 cards: 12 Common, 3 Uncommon, 10 Rare, and 2 Double-Rare cards. As with the preceding Shiny Collection released during the BW Era, each pack contains only 4 cards instead of the usual 5, and each card has a gloss coating with a special Holofoil inset. There are also a number Full Art cards featured in the collection, some of which form a larger illustration when joined, such as Regigigas, Arceus, and White Kyurem.
