Evolving via battling

The evolution section states that it's not possible to evolve a Pokémon through battling, but this isn't entirely correct. Leveling up through battling doesn't seem to trigger evolution if you enter battle via the ZR button, because that recalls the Pokémon to its ball in order to throw it at the wild Pokémon; however, entering a battle via making contact with a wild Pokémon in the overworld does not recall the player's Pokémon, so it's possible to evolve it this way.
