The Greninja & Kangaskhan ex Battle decks were the third release in the ex Battle Deck product line. The ex Battle Decks are Play Level 1, indicating they are aimed at beginners to the TCG.
The ex Battle Decks were sold individually as the Greninja ex Battle Deck and the Kangaskhan ex Battle Deck. Each deck contained a fixed selection of 60 cards, including the eponymous Pokémon as Pokémon ex. Each deck also included a deck box, damage counters, a single-player playmat, a rules booklet, a Quick Guide, three reference cards, a TCGL code card, and a Jumbo-sized coin.
