Crap. I copied the text of the Birch article here, then meant to change Littleroot to New Bark, and so on.
Eh, my bad.
I could have sworn that Prof. Elm was given a first name in the anime... It was something kinda dorky but I searched online and couldn't find it. It might have been in Around the Whirlpool but I'm not sure... --greengiant

I restarted my Pokemon Crystal today, and noticed that, at least in the game, Prof. Elm is married and has a child; they live in New Bark Town. Should that be included in the page? :S Agnessa 00:20, 22 July 2008 (UTC)

Togepi Egg Bug HG\SS
Is it possible that if you don't show the togepi to professor Elm until after you have beaten the gym leader at Mahogany Town and cleared the team rocket hideout, that you can't proceed in the game any further? A friend of mine now has the problem that he can't proceed to the radio tower to beat team rocket again. He didn't show the togepi to the professor after it hatched until he obtained the 7th badge but he did fulfill any other required actions to proceed, as in beating the team rocket hideout and winning against the gym leader, yet he didn't get a phone call from Elm after beating the gym leader. He traded his togepi to a friend right after it hatched and traded it back now to show it to professor Elm, but he still can't proceed. He is stuck at Mahogany Town, there are no Team Rocket members occupying the radio tower and there is still that guy blocking your way at Mahogany Town to the Ice Patch.
