What do you think of the possibility of its name being derived from the prima ballerina of the Moscow Imperial Bolshoi Theatre Anna Sobeshchanskaya, who had the main role of Odette/Odile in the 1877 ballet Swan Lake and Anna Pavlova, widely regarded as one of the finest classical ballet dancers in history and was most recognised for the creation of the role The Dying Swan, which influenced modern interpretation of the Swan Lake.
