Birth Island (Japanese: たんじょうのしま Birth Island) is a location near Fortune and Quest Islands, in the Sevii Islands. It is present in Pokémon Emerald and Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen. It can only be accessed after downloading the AuroraTicket through Mystery Gift, and traveling there via the Seagallop Ferries' dock in FireRed and LeafGreen, or the S.S. Tidal in Emerald.

Unlike the other Sevii Islands, and like Navel Rock, it is not visible on the Town Map by default, and will only become visible upon visiting there. It is where Deoxys can be found. The player must solve a strange puzzle, by following a moving rock, until Deoxys appears. If the player doesn't follow the shortest path to the next rock, the rock will move back into is original position, resetting the puzzle.

Trivia

• There is a glitch location, Sevii Isle 9, that has blank map data for the location where Birth Island is. This may be due to undeleted beta programming, or may just be data for the outside of Birth Island, as it is usually entered through the ferry.
