Maury (Japanese: カツミ Katsumi) is a Pokémon Trainer who appeared in the movie The Rise of Darkrai. His English voice actor is Joshua Swanson and his Japanese voice actor is 山本博 Hiroshi Yamamoto.
He, along with Kai and Allegra, challenged Ash and co. to a battle. He goes up again Ash himself, versus his Pikachu, who makes a folly by commanding a Thunderbolt on Maury's Torterra, likely not realizing it's Grass/Ground, and then switches to Iron Tail.
According to the end credits, Maury also participated in the Alamos contest, where he was subsequently defeated by Kai. He was not on stage when Allegra received her winning ribbon.

Maury's only known Pokémon is a Torterra. It first appeared when Ash ran into it while running. It was used to battle Pikachu and due to the fact it was part Template:Type2, was immune to Pikachu's Thunderbolt, but took a hard hit from Iron Tail. Later, it was used to battle Darkrai and helped slow down Alamos Town's disintegration.
Torterra's known moves are Seed Bomb and Bullet Seed.

- Maury, Kai, and Allegra each own the final form of one Sinnoh starter Pokémon.
- Though he was not referred to by name in the dub, Pokémon.com has since revealed that his name is Maury.
- Maury's character design resembles that of Torterra's color scheme.
- Maury was referred to as Maurice on his voice actor's resumé.
