Wait.

Wasn't that S.S. Sinnoh? --Maxim 19:18, 2 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

No it wasn't, it's called the S.S. Spiral. Pokedex493 19:31, 2 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
Is this a response to the above? Turtwig's A-B-Cs (talk | contribs) 21:00, 2 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
Yes. Pokedex493 19:37, 6 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
Then why put it in a different section? Wouldn't it be simpler to keep it in the same one? Turtwig's A-B-Cs (talk | contribs) 01:40, 7 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, answers really should go in the same section as their questions.
Anyway, as for the name confusion, there actually is a ship called the S.S. Sinnoh; I've seen commercials for it on the televisions myself. Do remember, though, that there are actually two ridable ships in this particular country--if I read PS377 correctly, didn't Diamond take the S.S. Sinnoh from Canalave to Iron Island? In that instance, I think we might have matched the names of Sinnoh's ridable ships to their proper vessels...--Shiningpikablu252 02:35, 7 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
Are we sure this ship is called this? I've played through Diamond and Platinum twice and never recall it being giving a name. --HoennMaster 02:56, 7 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
I think it was given a name in the manga. I checked my game and I can't find a name. --SnorlaxMonster 10:43, 7 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
But the name S.S. Sinnoh IS mentioned in the game, in the TV commercials. I must find other references to the name. --Maxim 12:16, 7 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
Hmm, according to Jubilife TV, S.S. Spiral is mentioned, but S.S. Sinnoh is not (I Ctr+F'd). However, it doesn't seem to mention where it goes. --SnorlaxMonster 12:40, 7 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
Don't use Bulbapedia as a source for itself, please. It's one of the most annoying clichés of this place. I'm positive the list of quotes in that article isn't complete. I've got PokeGuide's ripped DP script. However, since it's in multiple files, searching through it is going to be a pain. --Maxim 12:55, 7 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

(resetting indent)Actually, I mentioned that it doesn't prove it in my edit summary. Anyway, I just found that in Diamond it says:

To the distant seas beyond reach by surfing! High-speed ferry S.S. Sinnoh. Bon voyage in safety!

Jubilife TV had the same thing, but with S.S. Spiral. I would like to test out Platinum later, to see if the name changed between versions. --SnorlaxMonster 13:44, 7 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

What could this mean? That the ship wasn't just redesigned in Platinum. It was REPLACED with a completely different ship. --Maxim 14:53, 7 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
