Pokemon Team Basics
Every self-respecting team needs a basic strategy universal to the great battlers.
- 1 Physical Sweeper
- 1 Special Sweeper
- 1 Mixed Sweeper
- 1 Sponge or Evader
- 2 Pokemon of which you choose
Physical Sweepers
Physical Sweepers are Pokemon that use all contact moves. They have at least 1 Stat Boost move.

Special Sweeper
Special Sweepers are just like Physical Sweepers but they use Special attacks. Special Sweepers are immune to Carvanha and Sharpedo's Ability Rough Skin as they do not touch the opponent.

Sponges and Evaders
Sponges are Pokemon that can take a lot more damage that others. Evaders basically do what it says on the tin. They Evade!!! One perfect example is Starmie
