Trivia
Origin
Its species shows that it was inspired by the centipede, most likely the Scolopendra heros arizonensis. However, other than the barbs on its head and backside, Pendra has more similarities to milipedes, most likely a red Archispirostreptus gigas, a species of millipede often kept as a pet.
Name origin
Pendra's name derives from Scolopendra, a genus of centipedes. It may also be derived from Pandora.
