Iron Island

Iron Island (Japanese: こうてつじま Steel Island) is a small islet off of the northwestern coast of Sinnoh. On this island, a man named Riley trains, and will give the player a Riolu egg if he or she helps him here. Iron Island was once a prosperous ore mine, but was shut down after the ore reserves dried up. Since then, it was kept open as a training area and habitat for wild Pokémon. Byron and the members of the Canalave Gym come here to train, as did Roark in his childhood.
