John (Japanese: ジョン Jon) is a Trainer that has traveled through many regions, including Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, and Unova. Although obnoxious, immature, cocky, and arrogant at times, he's a kind-hearted kid who loves to play the Pokemon games and likes to try and spend whatever time he can to help edit Bulbapedia.
I love Pokémon -- the anime, the games, everything.
My first Pokémon game was Pokémon Sapphire and I fell in love with it. I went to my local GameStop and immediately bought Pokémon Blue and Pokémon Yellow, which I found fun, but not as appealing as Sapphire. Something about the Hoenn region and its native Pokémon has always intrigued me, so I can say that Generation III is my favorite -- it's the only Generation that I've bought ALL games for (the Hoenn region games were the best, IMO, I didn't really like Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen.
I remember popping in Sapphire, and playing for hours on end. I remember trying to catch numerous Zigzagoon and Wurmple, up until the point where I’m getting pretty ticked off that I can’t catch ANYTHING. I finally caught my first Pokémon; a Whismur. And oddly enough, it’s remained my favorite Pokémon since. Like, its stats suck, but I never evolve it into Loudred because I seem to have some sort of connection with it haha. It’s weird, I know...
I love the anime as well, I started watching it during the Advanced Generation series and went back and started watching reruns of the original series, which further cemented my interest in the anime. My favorite characters are Ash and May, but I’m not an AdvanceShipping supporter, in fact, I don’t ship. I simply watch the show knowing full well that Ash will never be smart enough to get together with any of the girls in the show. :P

Hello, my name is Johno1995 -- you can just call me Johno, or even John if you want.
I love the anime, I pay attention to it nowadays by looking at the episode pictures that come out online, but I try to catch the dubbed episodes whenever I can. I didn't really like much of the Diamond & Pearl series, especially as it began to progress. I liked how it started and how it ended, but during the middle it just sort of dragged and I lost interest.
Episodes where Ash is in pain are the best (AG189, DP042 are a few of my favorites in this category lol) -- he's such an idiot, and I love episodes when he gets electrocuted, blasted by fire, whatever :P Besides the fact that Ash is stupid, I still like him as a character. He's just a loveable idiot who makes me facepalm whenever he does something stupid (probably at least twice every episode haha, but like Ash with Pikachu's shocks, I'm pretty used to it by now) but he’s a fun character to watch and I liked seeing his development throughout the show. Looking at him from the original series to DP is pretty interesting.
May was another fun character I loved to watch develop. From a girl who hated being around the creatures to actually being an amazing Coordinator was amazing to watch. She's also really cute, which never hurts. ;) I was sad to see her leave the series, and am not a particlar fan of Dawn, but I am enjoying Iris so far, her Axew is adorable and I love her personality.

I feel Bug and Poison are very underrated, and a lot of the Poison and Bug-types have some of the best designs (IMHO, that is), especially Dustox, Denchura, and Seviper.
I don’t play the games that much anymore, not as much as I used to, because I like to go out a lot and I still have school, so my schedule gets a little tight. But I try to play as much as I can in my free time - and once I finally get the new Pokemon games, I will devote as much time as I can to playing again because I'll need to - I KNOW I'll be addicted lol...
