SeasonShipping is the belief in love between Hazel and Almond from the manga series Magical Pokémon Journey, or the support of Hazel's crush on Almond. SeasonShipping is one of the most popular shippings among fans of Magical Pokémon Journey due to the fact that Hazel's crush on Almond is an integral part of the story.
Story evidence
- The entire basis of the Magical Pokémon Journey story focuses on Hazel's attempts to make Almond fall in love with her.
- Grandpa's introduction to Adventuring The Stone refers to Hazel running after "her boyfriend Almond all the time".
- In Adventuring The Stone, Hazel tells Squirtle that she understands how it feels to be in love with Almond.
- In Eevee... Pokémon Genius! and Valentine Heartbeats, Hazel gives gifts of chocolate to Almond.
- In Eevee... Pokémon Genius!, Hazel is very jealous of Coconut's advances on Almond, and is even upset that she gets to share a panel with him.
- When Hazel wins tickets to a romantic getaway at a hotel in Excitement at the Hot Springs?!, her first choice as her guest is Almond, though he is unable to go because Hazel is too young to go without an adult chaperone.
- In the "Bonus Bonus 2" chapter of Volume 2, Hazel and Coconut try to "capture" Almond with Poké Balls.
Alternate names
This ship is known less-commonly as NutShipping. This name was first thought up by Blue Hiker. Later (and independently), Ketsuban also came up with it. The name InYourDreamsShipping has also been suggested, but it is not in use.
