(Japanese: ハチク Hachiku) is the Gym Leader of Icirrus City's Gym, known officially as the Icirrus Gym. He specializes in Template:Type2 Pokémon. He gives the Icicle Badge to Trainers who defeat him.
In the games
Hachiku appears in Pokémon Black and White as the Gym Leader of Icirrus City's Gym. This Gym will be the seventh to be challenged by the player. Trainers who defeat Hachiku will receive the Icicle Badge, along with TM79 (Ice Breath). He also reappears at N's Castle where he and the other Unova Gym Leaders hold off the Seven Sages.
In the past, Hachiku was a movie star, but grew bored of making films. Unsure of what to do with himself, he took the advice of Adeku and became a Trainer. He traveled alone to an icy cave and trained in silence to gain as much knowledge as possible. Hachiku also places importance on concealing his true identity from others.
