Effectiveness explanations

Curious: The page for the Flying Pokedex makes mention that these books contain 'explanations' of why types are effect against others, i.e., water puts out fire and whatnot. Seems this would be great info to have on each element's page if possible; does anyone have these books? Jmccurdy 18:37, 12 April 2011 (UTC)

My little brother has the Fire one; I don't have any chance of getting ahold of it anytime soon, though, as I'm away at college, and the book is back home. --Andy^P_K^M_N (talk) 19:10, 12 April 2011 (UTC)

Appreciate the feedback, Andy; no worries, no need to make a special trip to pick up the book or anything. It's really only a few specific instances that have always puzzled me, maybe some folks can help: For example, why are Fighting-type moves super-effective against Normal-type Pokemon?
