Card images.
If the images are already at their standard name, then they should not be changed at all. This includes "PolitoedSkyridge25.jpg", "ZapdosBaseSet16.jpg", and any others that you decide to do. All the categories are already set up on the images we already have, so you need to upload new versions of those files, instead of completely new ones at a incorrect name. - Oops, sorry, for some reason the "Upload a New Version of This File" link wasn't present on a few images, so I just assumed that I wasn't allowed to replace them for archival purposes. I'll make sure to do it the way you pointed out for all future images. Thanks for pointing that out :) GetOutOfBox 18:02, 1 July 2011 (UTC)
- It's fine. Don't worry about it, but if the link to upload a new version isn't there, all you need to do is upload the file, and I will move them all accordingly later when you are finished. The bigger issue is when you change the wiki page, you are pulling those image files out of the naming standard. The scans are nice, but they still need the standard file name, and it would be easier either uploading a new version, or holding off on the card page changing, as it would be reverted back later after the image was moved. - If I could just add to this, did you go to this page or this page? :) The first one obviously doesn't have the "Upload a new version", and the second one from the archives does~ Maybe this will help you? ★Jo the Marten★ ಠ_ಠ♥ 18:18, 1 July 2011 (UTC)
- Ah, that's my problem then. So the new version link only appears on the archive page? Are certain images locked to admin-only changes? Thanks for the help guys! GetOutOfBox 21:20, 1 July 2011 (UTC)
- Only if said images are protected, but very very few of the thousands are. I doubt that will be a problem. MaverickNate 21:27, 1 July 2011 (UTC)
