From Bulbapedia, the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia.
- Red Orb and Blue Orb redirects here. For the orbs that serve similar purposes, see List of key items in Generation IV.
This is a list of all the key items that are found in Generation III. Please note that some of these are also part of the list of key items in Generation I due to Pokémon Red and Green being remade, and several appear in multiple generations.
Some items are specific to a certain region, while others can be found in both Kanto and Hoenn. Through hacking, Hoenn-exclusive key items can be obtained (though they will have no use) in the Kanto-based games, while Kanto-exclusive key items can be obtained in Emerald (likewise to no use). The only exceptions to this is with the Mach Bike and Acro Bike, which both can be used in Kanto. However, they will only function as a regular bike.
This list includes only key items from the Game Boy Advance games. For lists of key items in each of the Nintendo GameCube games, see List of key items in Pokémon Colosseum and List of key items in Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness.
