A P*DA (Pokémon Digital Assistant) is an eletronic device owned by Wes in Pokémon Colosseum and by Michael in Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness, in lieu of a Pokédex. The P*DA keeps track of a Trainer's ID No., their money, as well as their playing time. It also has other features, detailed below.

While only friends of Pokémon Professors can get their hands on Pokédexes, it appears that just about anyone can own a P*DA, at least in Orre.

In Pokémon Colosseum, the P*DA additionally can be used to send and receive e-mail and keep track of the Trainer's PokéCoupons. It has a ringtone that can be customized to the preferences of the user. Additionally, Wes' P*DA was upgraded with the Snag List - a list of the Shadow Pokémon created by Cipher, and the Strategy Memo - which gives a small amount of information on the Pokémon the owner has seen, which includes a Pokemon's appearence, height, weight, and type.

In Pokémon XD, it has a new interface. Again, it keeps track of the PokéCoupons, has a Strategy Memo and e-mail, and can be upgraded to keep track of Shadow Pokémon as well..

Its newest feature is a PokéSpot Monitor, which alerts you whenever there is activity by wild Pokémon at one of the three PokéSpots.
