Flip a coin. If heads, discard 1 Energy card attached to Moltres. If tails, discard all Energy cards attached to Moltres. If you can't discard Energy cards, this attack does nothing.
The flames on this legendary Pokémon's wings burn so brightly that they can make night seem like day.

Release information
In Japan, this card was released as a promotional card by All Nippon Airlines throughout August and September in 1999 with artwork by Toshinao Aoki. Passengers flying in conjunction with the "Pokémon Getaways" campaign could redeem their boarding passes for a two-card set that included Moltres and Zapdos. The English version was given away in the first few weeks of the theatrical release of The Power of One with then English-exclusive artwork by Naoyo Kimura.
The card was reprinted in Japan with the English artwork in Pokémon Web. The original Japanese artwork was eventually featured on English cards when reprinted in Supreme Victors as a retro card.
The initial print of the Wizards promo erroneously credited Toshinao Aoki as the illustrator, who illustrated the Japanese promo. Wizards rectified the error, with subsequent prints correctly crediting Naoyo Kimura as the illustrator. However, the change was brought about close to or after the release of the film, so it is likely to assume fewer people received the correct version later into the campaign compared to those who received the misprint earlier.
