Continuous damage?

From my experience with the games, Wrap consistently deals damage equal to 1/16 the target's maximum HP on the turns that it afflicts the user. Is this true at all? Ztobor 05:34, 20 February 2010 (UTC)

I'm a little confused. Do Wrap and Bind only inflict 15 points of damage on the first turn, and take away 1/16 on the others?Confusion 21:43, 1 April 2012 (UTC)
Wrap is a partial trapping move. These moves prevent switching and damage the target at the end of each turn for two to five turns. Wrap is a 15 power move, so it deals damage when it hits. Then every turn until the effect ends, including the turn it hits, it deals 1/16th of the target's maximum HP as damage. Werdnae (talk) 22:07, 1 April 2012 (UTC)

Is the 1/16th HP damage affected by type resistances, or is it always a flat 1/16th? If you use Wrap on a Rock-type Pokémon, will it deal 1/16th of its HP each turn, or only 1/32nd? Nthnszmr 18:11, 11 April 2012 (UTC)
